We start with standard features like:
Articles. The website will allow an internet savvy employee at your company to easily add, modify, and remove articles from the website. And visitors to the site will be engaged as they have the ability to comment about articles.
Events. The website will allow an internet savvy employee at your company to easily add, modify, and remove company events on the website.
Announcements. All company announcements will be controlled by a database and allow text, graphic, and video. These announcements can then be displayed in various areas of the website in the media that fits the area it is displayed in.
Links. The links area will be controlled by database and can be updated using the easy-to-use Administrative Area.
Staff Directory. You will be able to create profiles with pictures and contact information on the site which will build a Staff Directory.
Free Downloads. Downloads will be powered by the database to allow easy add, modification, and removal of downloads from the site. This will also keep the downloads list updated automatically.
FAQs. The FAQs for the site will continue to be controlled by the database to allow easy updating as new information and suggestions arise.
Media – Video, Audio, Photo. A media room will be created to allow website users to view all audio, video, and any photos that the organization provides on YouTube and other media hosting sites. Media items can be easily added, modified, or removed through the Administration Area by an internet savvy employee. At this time, the only media that can be hosted on our server is photos.
Press Room. A press room will be created and controlled by the database to allow easy addition of press releases, publicity content, and other related media.
After these features are installed, custom-designed features can be configured. For example, a recovery organization wanted to allow their site visitors to list their supports groups on the website. We designed the database to hold this information, created an area for the visitors to add and update their group information, and a review panel for the organization to review the information before it went live on its site.
